Sean Costello Sits in with The Last Waltz Ensemble
It is with great regret that I must inform you of the passing of Calvin "Skeeter" Brandon. Skeeter passed away around 9:00pm surrounded by friends and family on Thursday March 20th. Skeeter was one of the greatest vocalist I ever saw or had the pleasure to work with. He and his band Hwy 61 were on the "original" Intrepid Artists roster in 1994. They played my wedding reception in 1998 and I was fortunate enough to have him sing the Lord's prayer at my wedding as well. I have never seen so many people with lumps in their throats and tears in their eyes. If you were ever lucky enough to witness Skeeter do this, then I don't need to explain any further. He was simply amazing. Skeeter, The music world has lost one of it's treasure's. You were a true hidden gem. We will miss you!
Rest in Peace.
Rick
Skeeter is survived by his wife, Vanessa. She asks that all cards, flowers and donations be sent to the following:

Kenny Neal is Back Ya'll!
It's official everybody. My time away from you has finally ended. I will be back out there playing for ya'll by the start of the new year. And I must say I CAN'T WAIT! In my year of recuperation I've had alot of time to count my blessings and right there at the top of the list is the great joy my fans bring to me. I've missed seeing ya'll. You know there is a wonderful give and take between the entertainer and his or her audience. Sure we appreciate it when you purchase our CD's and DVD's. That acknowledges the fact that you enjoy our work. But it is the face to face meetings at the live performances that really keep us all going.
So check my website KennyNeal.net to see the tour dates and be sure to say hello when you see me in your town. I have not only restored my health in the past year but I have secured a place for my fans in my heart forever. Your letters and emails and prayers have played a major role in my recovery. I look forward to showing you my sincere appreciation when I see you. And that will be soon. Thanks for everything.
